3rd Laparotomy
As you know the cyst that was discovered early on did not dissipate and as a result, I am having surgery tomorrow at noon. I will be having a laparoscopic surgery–small incisions will be made in which they will insert a light, camera and whatever else they need to retrieve the cyst on my left ovary. The cyst has to be removed because iit has jagged edges, and it was concerning to the doctors. Please hope and pray with me that the cyst is NOT cancerous! I know that I’ve been covered with many prayers and really hope that the cyst is no longer there! If it is, I know that God is still Go0d in the midst of all this and that is what I need to rely on. If the cyst seems to be life threatening, which they don’t expect, then the doctors will have to remove my left ovary. If this is the case, the surgery will be stopped and will be postponed until after I’m able to harvest some of my eggs, which is a CRAZY! Lord, help me if that happens! I’m also hoping for a quick recovery, but the nurse said it will be at least 4 weeks and during that time I will be Michigan with my parents. Thank you!
